I have a thing for yellow and a thing for penguins (penguins of madagascar), so this is perfect for me. I tend to be cold most of the time, so keep blanket on sofa. I usually order large 50x60 or preferably, twin size 60x80 for sofa. Its definitely large enough for me and my dog and two cats to cuddle together, they will not be on sofa without blanket or I get "the look" since from babies they are used to having one to lay on. This is very soft and warm, and a comfortable weight without being hot, sometimes my sherpa style one can be. I wash regular cycle and has held up well. I do tend to put blankets and towels on more medium sensor rather than timed or high heat, so not sure if makes a difference. Plus, take out of washing machine as soon as possible, and only use unscented detergent and no fabric softener, sometimes the wool dryer balls.Where else could you find such a specialized blanket for a girl who is obsessed with Okapi's?! The blanket came quickly, in minimal packaging, and is really nice quality. It's a bit thinner than I expected, but makes a nice extra blanket layer on my daughter's bed or that she drags to the couch with her. It's also a really nice size. I haven't washed it yet, but I think it will hold up well.I was worried about size and the fabric bc it was cheaper than all the others I found. But omg!
