I've had this bed for a year now. I have slept on it with multiple dogs. My family members have also slept on it when we take it with us on air b&bs. My bf and I have slept on it together including. Great bed for movie nights in the living room or drive in movies in the back of the trucks bed. I myself had to sleep on it for 4 month since my grandparents were visiting us. Wet dogs have played ontop of it multiple times I simply take the cover off and wash it. Great bed for camping too. I've taking this bed to the great sand of dunes on a small road trip with my cousin and sister laying on the back of the truck bed with this bed which covers the whole truck bed almost. We only wanted to take one car so we took the truck and everyone else laid out in the bed. Most comfiest ride in the back of a truck. We even got it covered in sand and dirt and lots of water but with a simple wash got the work done. I board multiple dogs every weekend therefore this bed is perfect for multiple dogs to be on it. Even let's me sleep with them since I don't like dogs on my bed. Overall great investment. Recommend the biggest size if you're adventurous like I am.Bought this 2 months ago for my 10yo boxer that was just diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy and is losing use of her legs. She now spends most of her day laying down and she couldn’t get comfy on the donut beds we had. This bed is soft enough that she is comfortable laying on it most of the day but firm enough she can still get up (usually without assistance depends on how good/bad of a day she is having). She was spending most of her day laying in her crate so the other day I tried moving this bed to my office and she happily laid in my office all day so clearly I need to get a second bed. If that isn’t a helpful review straight from the dog I don’t know what is. This is the large size (6” thick), it did take a while to completely fluff up, the outer cover has been washed probably 4 times (we put her blanket over it) and she’s thrown up on it twice and the waterproof inner cover protected the foam. The only downside is the price but her comfort is worth it to me.30 days into using the first one it has become my dog’s favorite bed. My 130lb bullmastiff sleeps on it for hours at a time but there is no identifiable sagging or compression. Washed the cover for the first time and was super easy to remove and replace.Idk why, but my cat decided to pee on this and I really wish it was fluid resistant. The smell was awful and it took a few times soaking and cleaning outside to get it fixed. Took forever to dry. I have left it outside as a bed instead so the cat isn't inclined to repeat the process.I got a brown furry bed for my 4 year old male American Pitbull Terrier and I got a Grey furry bed for my 2 year old female Pitbull/German Shepherd mix and I still have both of them to this day they are surprisingly thick my 4 year old American Pitbull Terrier is not the cleanest since he's not neutered so he's nasty sometimes like boy dogs are,So I was able to spray down the plastic matress protector with orange spray scub it down and put it in front of a fan over night and it literally looks brand new. Use gain laundry pods when machine washing the cover too and it'll smell amazing!We have been going from bed to bed, trying to find the right fit. They all stated their bed fit a Great Dane, they never did…..till now we finally found this bed…this is one happy GREAT Dane…. It truly fits a Great Dane.Nice looking, good quality,should be long lasting!I needed a bed large enough for our dog but fitting in a corner of the room. This bed is perfect, and the dog got on it as soon as I took it out of the package, before it inflated itself (which it did beautifully, within 12 hours). Very happy with this dog bed and thinking of buying a second one.Update: the grey plush cover isn’t the best choice for dogs who shed a lot of hair. It really does cling onto the hairs and even tumble drying (be aware that it is labelled as not to be tumbled dried! If you dry for too long it shrinks- which is why they say not to tumble it) doesn’t remove the hairs. Best bet is to shake out as much as you can it sticky roll it. Would advise one of the other types of covers for big shedders. Would really love a more attractive cover for this bed instead of grey.We’ve just moved into a new house with a very hard (and rather ugly) flagstone floor. The dog’s normal folded over single duvet wasn’t cutting it and he was getting sore elbows. He is a 9 year old German Shepherd, 45-50kg and 110cm from nose to butt. I wanted to get him the XXL but was vetoed and we got the XL in the end.The bed does come squashed up and it takes a few hours to expand properly. It filled the cover really well. I can only imagine that those who posted negative comments didn’t realise that the mattress hadn’t expanded yet as it does fill out to be very thick and supportive. I chose the soft cover because I thought it would look nicer than the waterproof. It’s just as it looks in the pictures. Haven’t washed it yet but presume it will wash and dry fine.The bed is the right size- he’s a really big dog and unless you have something like a Great Dane or St Bernard the XL would be fine for most large breed dogs.It’s very firm and supportive. You can see on the pics I’ve attached that even as a big heavy dog the mattress is supporting him really well.Overall I’m really pleased with the bed, the dog loves it and the cat will be on it as well within a week I imagine!I was hesitant about spending so much on a dog bed without seeing it but needn’t have been. It is the best quality dog bed I’ve seen and whilst it’s a lot of money I know that my dog is comfortable and his old bones are well supported and off the cold hard floor.My only request would be for more choices in soft covers. I would love some other colours or maybe some stylish patterns like thin pale pinstripes or little stars.It's taken nearly two years to find the perfect night time bed for our Great Dane, and now we have!! This bed is actually too big for her, and takes her weight no problem at all. It took her a while to get used to the memory foam, but now she loves it and we have difficulty getting her up in the mornings!! I would recommend for any big dog owners to give this a try, it works for us.My lab x GSD is now 7 years old and I felt it was time to upgrade his bed for something more supportive and comfortable. He is a 40kg dog so not small but our lounge is not large, so getting the right size bed for him and us was also important. This bed arrived rolled up and compressed, so you need to allow it to puff up. I had to upzip the outer cover a little and free up the liner inside to allow it to fully decompress so don't be alarmed if it looks wrinkly or saggy until you've done this. If we had more space I'm sure Yogi would have appreciated the XL size but L is sufficient for him plus the added bonus we don't trip over it or him! It looks smart, modern and tidy and he loves it.I ordered the Dog’s bed while my Labrador was in hospital for an ear operation. I had decided that she need comfort when she returned home. When the bed arrived I was slightly disappointed as it looked rather flat (the packaging is extremely tight ). I left it over night and it was totally inflated and really comfortable. Since then my dog has come home and she absolutely loves the bedI deliberated for quite a while before buying this. Firstly the cost put me off, and the fact I couldn't see it before buying, after a bad experience buying a dog bed online I was very nervous this time round. I ordered the bed yesterday and it arrived today and I am absolutely delighted. I visited every pet shop in the area and couldn't find a bed that was the right size and would offer my 44kg dog the support she needs as she gets older.It arrives vacuum packed so you need to give it some time to inflate but my dog is already showing how much she loves it. Definitely a 5 star product and well worth the money spent.
